Group/ UnGroup

Some models or objects you import into Amorphium maybe
grouped. A group is a parent child relationship, one object is the
parent the other objects are it's children, this is called a hierarchy. When they are grouped together
they make up the whole object or model. The only thing that Amorphium generates as a
group with a hierarchy are letters, numbers or characters created in FontMan.
The purpose for ungrouping is so you can work on each part of the hierarchy pieces
then regroup them back into the whole object.

The Group/UnGroup function is located on the new menu.

When you use this function Amorphium will generate new objects of each part of the hierarchy,
and place them on the choose list.
The original object will not be effected and still be grouped together.
To group the objects back together have one of the ungrouped pieces in
the workspace window and select Group/UnGroup from the new
menu again. All of the pieces of the hierarchy will be grouped back together as a new
object, with all the changes you made to each piece when they where ungrouped.

If you try to ungroup an object or model that doesn't have a hierarchy you will get this message.

Once a object or model is ungrouped and you delete it off the choose list ( when it's in the workspace )
you will get this warning message.

When you delete one of the object in the hierarchy, the hierarchy no longer exist
for any of the object that where part of the hierarchy. So if you delete one object
the rest of the objects left can not be regrouped.
But you can delete the original object ( the one before you ungrouped )
and it will not effect the hierarchy of the ungrouped objects.

As I stated earlier the only thing you can create in Amorphium that has a hierarchy
are letters, numbers or characters created in FontMan.
When you export things created in FontMan they are exported as a group too.
When you imported an object or model that has a hierarchy it can be exported
as a group with a hierarchy too.
When you save objects with a hierarchy as Amorphium object files the are saved with the hierarchy too.
