These affect the whole object surface and internal
polygons.

These only affect the object surface polygons.
All the brush shapes along with brush mode,symmetry,
tilt, pressure, radius and flux setting can be used with these.

Mask rectangular, (top) Unmask rectangular,
(bottom)
This applies or removes mask in a square or rectangular
shape.
It affects the surface and internal polygons.
It goes completely though the object.
In other words If applied to the front side
it will come out on the back side to.

This applies or removes mask in a oval or circle
shape.
It affects the surface and internal polygons.
It goes completely though the object to like rectangular.

Mask invert
The mask and unmask areas trade places.

Mask smooth
Smoothes out the mask can be used multiple times.

Mask displacement tools
Displaces or moves the mask portion of the object
on the X Y and Z axes

Locking the axes does not effect the displacement
tools,
they will still move the mask any direction.
Note that the mask is moved
and not the unmasked portion. If the whole object
is masked then the whole object moves.
