Create Movie Menu

The Make Movie Menu is where you go after
all the key frames are set and your ready to render the animation.
The menu is launched by clicking on the Compose movie selection in Composer.

This will bring up the make movie menu.

First you need to determine how many frames per second ( FPS: ) will be rendered.
TV and movies are usually 30 FPS but 15 is usually good for most animation.
The more FPS the bigger the file size and longer the render will take.

There are 2 selections to determine how long the animation will last.
You can select one by placing a dot in it's circle. ( you can only select one method )

Total Time: let you determine how long the animation will be by seconds.
Example if you want the animation to be ten seconds long you type in 10.0 in the total time window.
At 15 FPS there will be a total of 150 frames in the animation.

Total Frames: determine how long the animation will be by frames.
Example if you have 300 total frames at 15 FPS the animation will last 20 seconds.

Render other objects: will render all the objects in composer workspace.
But only the key framed object will move and reflect changes made between key frames.
Objects that have been ghosted will not render.

Render forth and back: will render the animation forward first then
render it in reverse order. So the animation will be twice as long.

Compression
There are 2 options for compression and they work hand in hand with each other.

Method: determines what type of file the animation will be, GIF, JPG, BMP, ect...
There is a wide selection on the pull down menu.

Quality: lets you set the quality the animation will be, higher quality means more, clearer and sharper
color, but bigger file sizes, lower quality means smaller file sizes with less color and clarity.
Select one from the pull down menu.

Transition
Determines how the animated object ( key frame object ) moves between key frames.
Select one from the pull down menu.

Sharp: gives abrupt changes, in directions and transformations.
Gentle: give slow or exaggerated changes, in directions and transformations.
Smooth: gives a smooth and more natural looking change in directions and transformations.

There are 7 render options.
They tell Amorphium what attributes to render.
Enable the ones you want by placing a check in it's box.

When Size, Position and rotation are disabled they will reflect the attributes the object has in the last key frame set.
When Optic parameters and Light are disabled they will reflect the attributes the object has in the first key frame set.
When Texture parameters is disabled it will reflect the attributes the object has in the last key frame set.
Texture parameters include changes made to a texture in the texture work space. You can not change
to a different texture in the animation at any point. If you change textures the animation will reflect
the last texture set to the object in the whole animation.
When Fog and Smoke is disabled the start setting you set up on the Fog and Smoke menu
will be animated only.
These are the render options for the parameters of an attribute. You have to enable textures, And fog and smoke
on composes option categories for textures or fog and smoke to be rendered at all.

Pressing the cancel button will cancel any setting you made and close the make movie window.

Pressing the OK button will close the make movie menu and bring up a save dialog box,

Name the animation and select a place to save it.
Once you do this the render will start.
To abort the render at anytime press the Esc key.

When the render finishes the animation will start playing.
To exit the animation click the left mouse key anywhere and you will return to Amorphium.

If you choose to cancel when you are saving the animation with the
save dialog box you will get this message.

You will also get this message if at anytime the animation fails.

If you try to open the make move box without setting any key frames
you will get this error message.
