Standard Shape Menu

The Standard Shape menu lets you generate a wider variety of primitives or basic shapes.
The Standard Shape menu is located on the new pop up menu.

All shapes generated here are synthetic.

There is a preview space which shows you the selected shape and it's dimensions.

You can adjust these dimensions by using the value boxes for that dimension.
Not all objects have the same dimensions, but all have X and Y.
The preview space will show what dimensions each object has.

Divisions X: is usually the width or circumference.

Divisions Y: is usually the height or vertical thickness.

Base Divisions b: is the radius of the Cone and Cylinder.

Fatness f: is the thickness of the doughnut.

Higher values divide the object into more parts, which mean more polygons and therefore
smoother objects that handle sculpting and distortion better.
But lesser values will create different shapes because there are fewer divisions.
To learn more about this see the tutorial on new Shapes.

There a seven standard shapes to choose from.
Place a dot in the circle of the object you wish to generate.

Front Side Plan Mesh, is a 2D square face, only the front or top side is visible when rendered in composer.

Both Sides Plan Mesh, is a 2D square face, but the front or top and
back or bottom side is visible when rendered in composer.

Sphere, Cylinder and Cube, are the same as the organic primitives, but here you can increase
or decrease the polygon count.

Cone, creates a cone in the work space.

Doughnut, creates a doughnut or torus in the work space.

Pressing cancel will close the Standard Shape menu without generating anything.

Pressing OK will close the Standard Shape menu and generate the selected
object according to all the selected values.
