There are two types of snapping in Amorphium 3, to aid in modeling functions ( Object snapping and Grid snapping ).
Snapping options are found in all modeling workspaces ( snapping does not apply to the Composer environment ).
Both types can be used with Mesh objects, Tin and Biospheres will only utilize grid snapping.
Object Snaps
With object snapping the snaps are set on the object and are generally used with the bush tools found
through out the modeling workspaces, but can also be used as markers when working with the potter's wheel.
Snaps are set, by first enabling the Snaps options in the modeling window's Snap menu.
Then a snap can be set on a mesh object by holding the Alt key and click on the object.
Snaps are represented as tiny black squares on the object.
What the snap does is pull the center of the brush to the center of the snap.
Which aids in determining exactly where the brush will be applied. There is a
radius option that determines how close the brush has to be before it's
pulled to the snap. The snap radius can be set on the Edit/Preferences/Display tab.
When the brush moves into the radius the snap is activated and displays as red.
Snaps can be disabled or removed by right clicking in the window and selecting the option. Clear snaps removes all
the snaps. When disabled is selected the snaps are disabled and no longer viable. These options are only on the menu
when snaps are present on an object.
Snaps can also be disable by turning snaps off on the snap menu.
Individual snaps can be removed by holding the Alt key and clicking on them.
When using snaps as markers only ( for potter's wheel or material purposes )
the snap radius can be set to 0.000 and they will not effect the brush tools.
The Grid
From the display menu the grid is enabled using the Show Grid option.
Options for the grid's size are located on the snap menu. This option
will set the spacing between grid lines. The spacing can be set from 2.000 to 150.000,
the size will be change in real time before the option is closed.
Every modeling window open can have it's own grid options and whether or not the grid is
displayed.
Zooming the modeling window will also zoom in/out the grid.

The grid will also move with the view, up/down and side to side, when the view move tool is used.
Snapping To Grid
Grid snapping is enable on the Snap Menu
Two types of snapping will occur depending on what tool is used, what type object
is current in the window and it's position when snapping to the grid. Cross Hair: snaps to the cross hairs on the grid. Location Snapping: snaps the same distance every time, so the location of the object will determine
whether the tool is snapped to the Cross Hair, Line or Square.
Cross Hair: where lines intersect.
Squares: the square on the grid.
Lines: the lines on the grid.
Brushes: are snapped to the cross hairs, either when first activated or as they are moved.
Tin Tools: are snapped to a location on the grid.
So the location of the object will determine whether the snapping occurs at a square, line or cross hair.

Biosphere Move Tool: will utilize snap to grid, the initial biosphere ( biosphere created in Composer )
will be located at the center cross hair and will snap to cross hairs when moved. Any auxiliary biosphere made,
will snap to the same location on the grid as where they were created. So if a new one is created on a cross
hair, it will snap to cross hairs, created in a square, will snap to the same location in the squares.
Same for ones created on lines.
