Poser and Amorphium Pro

This tutorial shows the procedures for making Poser morph targets in Amorphium Pro

Making Poser morph targets

First create the figure in poser you wish to make a morph target for. Then export it as an obj.
poser export 1
poser export 2

For the range select single frame.
poser export 3

Then on the hierarchy selection, pick the body part or parts you wish to make a target for.
poser export 4

Then select a name and location to save it to.
poser export 5

On the last menu select Include figure names in polygon groups ( you'll need this option if you export more then
one body part, so they will be easier to choose in Amorphium Pro ) Also select the As Morph Target option.
poser export 6

Now import the obj into Pro.
pproimport1

It's so small it can't be seen but it will be listed on the project list.
proimprot2

At this point do not do anything to it, simple export out of Pro as an obj.
Pro export 1
Pro export 2
Pro export 3

Giving it a new name, I usually just add a 2 at the end of the name.
Pro export 4

Before importing it back into Pro, delete the first obj from the project list . They will both still have the same name
this way they won't get confused.
Pro delete 1

Then import the one just exported back into Pro.
Pro import back 1

After import back in do not change the size, use the fit option to fit the selected part in the workspace window.
Pro fit option

If you have multiple parts select them from the choose list.
Pro choose option

To maneuver the object in the workspace only use the zoom, rotate and bank tools.
Pro tools 1

If the move tool is used the object will disappear from the workspace window.
Pro tools 2

Create the morph on the obj.
Pro Morph 1

After finishing the distortion or work on the obj export it as an obj giving it a new name like pointed ears.
Pro export finale

Now the target can be imported into poser by selecting the body part on the figure then
using the object / load morph target command.
Load morph target
